As US and USSR tensions grew sodor tried to carry on life as normal, until a soviet missile hits the island. plunging the island into a nuclear wasteland, the engines and humans must survive the nuclear war.

When Stepney's visit to the North Western Railway is coming to an end, a new diesel comes to the island to help the engines. But we all know how difficult a diesel's arrogance can be.
