I was bruised and cut in places. I was winded and helpless. I brought together all my strength and ran out the door, away from my parents. I was alone in the forest. I kept running paranoid that they were chasing me. I found another clearing and collapsed on the ground. Tears were now running crazily down my cheeks. I looked up. I was shocked. There was another house in our so called hidden forest which no one knew about. I heard male voices coming from inside. Little did I know that those males inside would change my life forever.

The necklace around my neck starts to heat up, which indicates that someone, or something evil is coming near me. The necklace, itself, is very powerful, it gives me my special power, which will remain unknown, for now. I feel my chest start bruising from the heat that is coming from the necklace onto my fragile skin. I frantically look around to see who is coming near me, but I can't find a single living organism, other than the grass beneath my feet and the trees in the air. The pain shooting through my body is unbearable, but I don't touch it, or else it would break the power given to me by my father. I begin to loose strength in my legs and fall to the ground. The sound of rustling brings me back to reality, and I begin to stand up, even though the pain is severe. I lock eyes with a beautiful creature, but I know what he is, so fear starts to cloud my brain, and suddenly I have the strength to run again, and I will keep running from the beast until I can't run anymore.
