Lucy Chen a 26 year old woman is about to start her rookie time along with her two best friends John Nolan and Jackson West at Mid Wilshire station. Because not only is she the daughter of lieutenant Wade Grey of Mid Wilshire, but she is also the wife of Mid Wilshire's sergeant Tim Bradford. And she wants to keep all this a secret so no one thinks she has gotten special treatment, she wants to prove herself. But this means keeping her secrets hidden...

When former firefighter Lucy moves to the coastal town of Azure Cove, she expects blue water and a fresh start, not a town trying to set her up with its mayor and most eligible bachelor, Tim. Lucy is not looking for love, and Tim has no interest in being part of a small-town romance plot when he has important work to do, but avoiding each other proves to be impossible...and so does falling for each other.

The Rookie Fanfic: Lucy and Tim have gone through their share of ups and downs but now it is finally their time to take the next step and forgive. Rather rapidly. This is a "What If" for season 8 continuing right after Lucy falls asleep in season 7. (I know part of season 8 is already released but I had this story already written so I might as well share it. It's also good to imagine what if.

Background : Nevermore Academy, a mysterious and gothic boarding school where students possess extraordinary powers. In this AU, the characters from The Rookie are students and staff, not police officers, navigating magic, danger, and personal growth. Main Characters: • Lucy Chen: The new student, emotionless and mysterious, initially a "nobody." She possesses unmatched magical powers, even stronger than Tim Bradford. Over the story, she gradually bonds with her peers, confronts deadly threats, and learns to trust and feel. • Tim Bradford: A strong, disciplined student and natural leader. Initially rivals with Lucy, he becomes her closest ally and eventual love interest, supporting her through life-and-death challenges. • Supporting Characters: • Angela Lopez, Wesley Evers, Nyla Harper, James Murray, John Nolan, Bailey Nune, Wade Grey, Luna Grey, Celina Juarez, Aaron Thorson, Zoe Anderson - classmates and staff, each with unique powers and personalities, who gradually form a protective, supportive circle around Lucy.

Lucy, an environmental activist, and Tim, a corporate lawyer, are natural enemies just like the star-crossed lovers they're cast to play in a community theater production of "Romeo and Juliet". As rehearsals heat up, so does their off-stage tension, but what starts as animosity begins to feel a lot like chemistry. Of course, the modern-day foes might not suffer a doomed love story when the curtains close.

Lucy and Tim's eldest son is called away for work and asked them to watch his kids overnight. Judith the curious 4 year old has some questions about her grandparents love story.

The first part is from my recently begun Chenford: One Shot To The Heart collection. Long story short, it was too good to not continue. I've asked for it before and I'll keep asking as if the writers can hear me, they are just choosing to ignore my brilliant ideas, so I have to annoy them until they do what I want. What I want is to see each character in an inebriated situation like Jackson (RIP) was that one time. Drunk, high, I don't care. I just want us to be walked through the full spectrum of emotions and all the dark secrets that are revealed. Also, does anyone know how to actually get in contact with the writers? I just want to send them my pages of plotlines.

A fortune teller's cryptic reading leaves Lucy doubting her and Tim's future together, but Tim doesn't think a deck of cards can decide their fate.
