This is where the legend of the Shadow Dragon and The Shadow Rider.

a valstrax driven by an impossible goal but backed up with the mind of a leader and a tactician that won't give up who crashed into a snowy freezing island in a Very Far Place from where he came from and this new place is called The Barbaric Archipelago where vikings and dragons he had never seen exists but from his crash landing a frozen dragon who was long asleep wakes up a skrill with a shattered mind(just a fancy way to say amnesia) forgetting most if not all of his memories who also has a not very skrill personality and a hidden past(EVERYONE LOVES A HIDDEN PAST) and a very unnecessarily Huge amount of informations and knowledge about the archipelago and all the dragons species in it follow these two in their journey in the archipelago encountering new foes and allies and discovering new things both about the world and themselves... alright i ran out of words now soooooooooooo INTRODUCTION OVER if you SOMEHOW still dont know this is a httyd x monster hunter crossover story also the story is in the events of race to the edge and this is my first story soo dont expect much and as expected from a first story it isn't FULLY planned but I'll admit there is alot planned but not everything (just like any fan story in existence i do not own anything about httyd or dreamwork or monster hunter and i dont even own the picture of the story i just found it and used it but i dont know who made it) (also if you want you can type ideas in the comments and i might do it or take inspiration from it so yeah in short if ya got an idea feel free to type it in the comments) (also yeah if you want to use one of my characters or take an idea from this story or even connect this story world with yours or make a story in this same world feel free to do it yes even using one of my characters cause i like crossover things tbh but NOT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION you gotta ask first before borrowing everyone knows this)

ITS HICCSTRID!! This has been written over the course of about 4 years, so if you don't want to put up with the cringe writing feel free to skip to 'wait! She's your...' because that's when the writing starts to go uphill :) Most are based during/after rtte and httyd 2. A couple set either earlier or later. Only one modern. Valka wasn't the only one taken from Berk. Her and Hiccup are separated in the chaos, Hiccup somehow circling his way through Drago's ownership, and then growing up on Berserker. But Hiccup's peace there is interrupted when Drago's forces start storming the archipelago, and he accidently finds his way to his home island and leans the truth about dragons.

Tuffnut's bitten by a real Lycanwing, which turns humans into vampire-like dragons. When Hiccup gets back from Lycanwing Island with Fishlegs, it's to see that all his friends have been turned... and he's next. And finding out that the dragon hunters know about Lycanwings and probably will consider them all dragons now isn't helping.

When Hiccup encounters three apparently futuristic or multidimensional travelers, they get sucked right into his chaos as he tries hiding Toothless from the world. Berk might not trust them... but Hiccup does. Keeping them and Toothless safe drags on another unintended series of adventures.

Hiccup and the dragon riders are given the powers of the Infinity Stones when captured by an unknown enemy. Going out to the Edge is as much about escaping what gave them these powers as it is following the Dragon Eye. They try to learn their magic as they fight Dagur and the dragon hunters... who may have more ways to fight their new powers than they realize.

HTTYD Hiccup leaves au x male reader. Hiccup couldn't do it. He couldn't kill a dragon, but could he really just leave? He had basically no experience surviving on his own... but he wasn't on his own. With Y/N by his side, he could do it. Together, they could finally leave this place and find a home for dragons, but when their paths cross with a black haired girl, a mysterious dragon rider, and a map neither of them were prepared for... The world just got a whole lot bigger. --- This takes place as an alternative timeline from my Legend of the East story, so at least read up to the chapter before Hiccup decides to leave before reading this.

Ruffnut and her brother have never been liked by anyone, or had friends or whatever people consider 'normal'. Not that she cares. But when she finally realizes Hiccup feels the same way, she finally makes her first friend.
