Astrid later runs away to escape an arranged marriage to Snotlout, finding herself in a strange and wonderful world. She makes friends with a pair of wild twins, a dragon who disappears, a young man who likes to make outfits, an elusive white dragon, and a few other crazies. ITS HICCSTRID!! This has been written over the course of about 4 years, so if you don't want to put up with the cringe writing feel free to skip to 'wait! The Havendale Juniors have traveled to the Isle of Berk, a Viking settlement where a conflict between Vikings and dragons is currently raging. The life of a young Viking is hard especially when it comes to being around so much fighting and death. The Vikings of Roothollow like the name suggestes are hollow, tough, fearless warriors. Unlike vikings from other villages when they get their weekly or maybe even daily night raids from dragons. Instead of killing maybe one forth of the dragons they kill on an average of half to more. The villagers are honestly surprised the dragon get the confidence to came back. But there wouldn't be a story to be told if there wasn't a person had a different perspective. Harlow a daughter of a well trained and disciplined warrior had a silent disagreement with her village. She always liked dragons and thought there could be peace. But one day the Chief found out that she had been helping dragons and been secretly having relations with his daughter. So she was drove out of her own village by her own people and father. They all thought she was dead and they were glad. But what they didn't know was that she was alive and peacefully living among dragons. She thought she was the only one to live in peace with dragons. But what will happen when she finds other vikings like her. Flying and living with dragons.
