Hi!!! I'm Clover and this is my first ever fanfic!!! also this story was inspired by @Otaku-chanxoxo work Betrothed, and forgiveness, be sure to check out her work. Other than the idea of being betrothed to Dagur I'm making sure to not copy and make original work, Dagur is a bit yandere too. But in all honesty that's just because he's Dagur. lol. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III has done the unspeakable- befriended a dragon. And having come first in Dragon-training, means that he now has to kill one. But Hiccup can't kill a dragon, so he plans to run away with his Night Fury, Toothless. When Astrid finds out about Toothless, Hiccup convinced her of the dragon's loyalty and they become friends. When she learns what Hiccup plans to do, she demands to come with him. After a lot of arguing, he eventually agrees, and they leave Berk that night, hoping never to return. 5 years later, Hiccup and Astrid have settled down on a new island known as "The Edge" and have a small child of their own. Their new lives are interrupted, however, when a certain group of teens and a blacksmith wash up on the shores of The Edge. A group of people they hoped never to see again. Hiccup and Astrid broke up so when his former crush come back he feels more love then he did when he and Astrid were together, Luna Ragnar the 3rd is the girl who got away because someone made up a rumour about her family that caused them to leave Berk but Snotlout tells a different tale.
