A massive storm comes out of nowhere one day, sucking the dragon riders in and taking then far from home. They wake up on an odd island that they've never seen before. But the deeper they travel into it's forests, the more they realize this is no regular land. Things that should never be possible start happening, and they soon find themselves in a desperate fight for survival. And no matter what they try, there doesn't seem to be a way off the cursed island. It isn't until they meet a strange girl with a strange name that things start to take a turn for the better. Love begins to blossom in the land where anything is possible. Will they make it off the island? Or are their fates sealed? The longer they're trapped, the more they learn. This island is not what it seems. And this strange girl is more than she appears to be. Little bit of creep factor, lots of character development in the beginning. The love interest starts a little later into the story (chp. 9 or 10).

Y/n Haddock had gone missing many years ago after a tragic accident on Berk, they were never seen again afterwards. Everyone on Berk mourns once a year on their birthday although this year they're unable to due to the largest threat they've ever faced coming at Berk, Grimmel The Grisly has struck once again and is attempting to kill all dragons. Especially Night Furies. Hiccup Haddock attempts to fight Grimmel although fails miserably, he gets Toothless kidnapped in the process and will most likely end up having his dragon killed. When Toothless is gone he realizes the dragons are too, but for what reason? Will Hiccup figure out why the dragons of Berk are gone? Will he find out why exactly Toothless has not been hurt?

My name is Freya Haddock, and just a few months ago, I was just an above-average village girl on the island of Berk. Now thanks to my brother Hiccup, I've spent the last few months learning all about the dragons of the archipelago through my adventures with my dragon Starlight and my friends.

After the great battle against the Red Death, the town of Berk had been living happily for almost a year. Things would never be the same after the welcoming of dragons, especially for the crowned hero of Berk, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. Each day, Hiccup was now required to train new dragons, as well as teach those around him how to ride and maintain their dragons. It was a busy schedule but definitely a step up from how life was before. On the first day of Spring, Hiccup and his gang are training in the arena when Toothless and Hiccup have an unusual experience they haven’t faced before, leaving Toothless struggling to fly. It isn’t long before the dragons of Berk are rapidly growing ill and no one can figure out why. Can Hiccup and the gang find the cause and a cure before it’s too late? A rider wearing a hood rode on a dragon. Following the Dragon Riders from Berk. Her Whistlewing was riding on a gust of wind, her wings straight and true. Gray and white scales on its body almost made the dragon vanish into the clouds. The wingtips had several patches of bluish green and black. The wind died down, no longer hiding the low whistle caused by the Whistlewing. One of the riders riding the Zippleback glanced up, easily spotting the wing markings. The leader, who was none other than Hiccup Haddock, raised his eyes, and his Night Fury locked eyes with both the rider and her Whistlewing. "So much for being subtle." The rider mumbled. Time to find out whether Whistlewing can outfly a Night Fury, Deadly Nadder, Zippleback, Monstrous Nightmare, and a Gronkle. Oh, Thor.

Gothi stepped back as he reached the bed and Hiccup's stomach dropped even further. He stopped, staring out at his father- bloodied and bruised with a bandage wrapped around his head, cuts on his face and arms. He looked terrible- worse than Hiccup had ever seen him look before. It was terrifying, almost scarier than the looming threat of Krogan and Johann and the Flyers and all of it- because how could Hiccup possibly fight them without his dad?! Where had that thought from from?! Hiccup thought desperately. He just looks bad- Vikings get hurt all the time, it's an occupational hazard. He's not dying- he's not. He can't be. (Remember that episode where you just want to give Hiccup a hug the entire time??? Yeah, this is that entire episode from his point of view) (RTTE SEASON 6 SPOILERS)

So, yes, this is the same person as Toothless_IsToothy, just different accounts. That one got blocked. Hiccup and Astrid run away from Berk not knowing what life holds for them (spoiler alert: a lot) 7 years later, after traveling the world, going to incredible places and meeting incredible people, receiving enemies and allies, they crash onto the one island they hate. Berk. Hiccup and Astrid are forced to face their past. And with the cherry to top off this, a new enemy starts appearing in their peripheral vision. Hiccup and Astrid need to decide fast whether they can change Berk or not. I don't own any of the HTTYD or RTTE characters. All those character rights belong to Dreamworks and Cressida Cowell.
