Based on a tumblr post ("WWII Era Vampires" by user "jewliesparks"). Shut up vampires are cool and I was sad because I didn't see many other versions of this on wattpad/ao3, so I am writing it myself. Warning: This story revolves around the era of WWII, so there are descriptions of blood/fighting/etc.; a content warning will be posted at the start of each chapter :)

There's never enough time in the world to tell a person how much you love them. Never enough time to see if something could have happened between the two of you. A love born of familial ties, of friendship, of nights enjoyed together, of watching sunsets descend the horizon, of the sunrise the morning after, of secret kisses stolen between hours of the day, of shared food and playful bites, of arguments that never actually matter, of the innocent hand holding, of the shared passion, even of the whispered secrets told between pages of books. Back stories are no more important here than out there. People become friends through shared interests, through opinions and facts bringing them closer. Stories of relationships, protective sisters, brothers so close you don't know whose clothes are whose anymore, maybe there's no mother, maybe there's a father but he's always at work, maybe there was a dog, maybe they've never had close friends.
