This is my first story, so please criticize all that you want! Plot: When you wish upon a star, it's actually a satellite, and your wish has been recorded and cataloged. An agent has been assigned to your case.

Based on a tumblr post ("WWII Era Vampires" by user "jewliesparks"). Shut up vampires are cool and I was sad because I didn't see many other versions of this on wattpad/ao3, so I am writing it myself. Warning: This story revolves around the era of WWII, so there are descriptions of blood/fighting/etc.; a content warning will be posted at the start of each chapter :)

Prompt: "The daughter of a billionaire is kidnapped for ransom, but it turns out she is more experienced in this endeavour than the kidnappers."

Two young women, named Flora and Amelia, in a city find that the other has a secret quite similar to the one they have theirself. Almost polar opposites, they form a bond through their proximity and relationship with each other. There's superpowers, an evil government agent, and witty banter between hero and villain in the most inappropriate of times. What more could you ask for in a Wattpad story? Oh, and they're roommates. Oh, gods, they were roommates. This was inspired by a Tumblr post about what if a superhero and villain were roommates and had to give random excuses to each other why they were always busted up. The world that Maylun is in might be a little different from yours. Now, apart from the telepathic abilities amongst twins, the world that Maylun lives in is no different than what could be happening on your Earth. The government has little power, but large influence. They're desperate to cling on to the people's hopes, always making futile promises and grand speeches. But it's clear that there is a harsh line between us all. No one is quite as equal as they should be, but there is one cause for our unity- defiance. Solidarity has formed in passive defiance, and we all wait for the day where we could return to a much more integral world. A selfless world without any traces of tyrannic hypocrisy. Meanwhile, Maylun is a small youth- almost eight in age- and his young eyes soon meet the pair of much older ones. Despite their distance, Maylun, was somehow able to feel that burn in his chest too. WARNING: This story is currently rated appropriate for all ages. It will soon become graphic in terms of violence or gore, and for that, it will be rated M soon. However, the author will make it very clear if a chapter will contain any violent imagery. That being said, all violent imagery will still be suitable for 13+.
