Maka ada seorang anak Seri Bija Diraja, Tun Omar namanya, terlalu berani; kelakuannya gila-gila bahasa. Maka Tun Omar disuruhkan oleh Bendahara Paduka Raja Sulu. Maka Tun Omar pun pergilah dengan seorang dirinya; perahunya olang-oleng. Setelah bertemu dengan perahu Siam yang banyak itu, maka dilanggamya sekali, dua tiga buah perahu Siam alah, lalu terus perahunya ke sebelah. Maka ia berbalik pula, dilanggamya yang lain pula, dua tiga buah alah perahu Siam itu; maka Tun Omar pun kembalilah. Maka orang Siam pun terlalu hairan melihat kelakuan Tun Omar itu.

This story is about a young woman named Lilleath Andrews who is 19 years old. She is forced to marry an unown man to her understanding but she doesn't know why. She has been living with her mother after her father died in a car accident. This is one of Malaysia's folklore, the Puteri Gunung Ledang or Princess of Mount Ophir. A short chapter told from Tun Mamat's point of view. In short, it is a story of how the Sultan would like to make the Puteri into his Queen and is rejected in a very roundabout way. Disclaimer; I may not follow the lore to the fullest. I do not know if Tun Mamat is that much of a whiny prat. I do not know if Hang Tuah did grow old to become a grouchy old fart. Also, there is many versions of this tale and I have followed the one I heard first.
