There's always love for everyone in the world, how they meet is already written in The Lovers Book, a book in which you'll find the rules of love. The ones who have one copy of this book are the Love Keepers, they are people like everyone, except that they have magic powers that can only be used in emergencies if not used correctly, their magic powers might lead to terrible things. There's different types of Love Keepers, the Young Love Keepers, they're about 15-19 years old, they take care of people around those ages, the Middle Love Keepers, they're about 20-29 years old, they take of people this age and try to maintain it, making it last long enough to end up in marriage. One of the Young Love Keepers named Rose has to fulfill a task, but it doesn't end up as planned and instead of making a match she and the guy end up falling in love for each other, but that breaks code 1600 of The Lovers Book. Maka Tun Omar pun pergilah dengan seorang dirinya; perahunya olang-oleng. Setelah bertemu dengan perahu Siam yang banyak itu, maka dilanggamya sekali, dua tiga buah perahu Siam alah, lalu terus perahunya ke sebelah. Maka ia berbalik pula, dilanggamya yang lain pula, dua tiga buah alah perahu Siam itu; maka Tun Omar pun kembalilah. Maka orang Siam pun terlalu hairan melihat kelakuan Tun Omar itu.

This is one of Malaysia's folklore, the Puteri Gunung Ledang or Princess of Mount Ophir. A short chapter told from Tun Mamat's point of view. In short, it is a story of how the Sultan would like to make the Puteri into his Queen and is rejected in a very roundabout way. Disclaimer; I may not follow the lore to the fullest. I do not know if Tun Mamat is that much of a whiny prat. I do not know if Hang Tuah did grow old to become a grouchy old fart. Also, there is many versions of this tale and I have followed the one I heard first.
