It was every dog for themselves. At least, that's how it's mostly been when it came to races at Racerville. Enter the twentieth quinquennial Doggone Grand Prix, hosted by the International Racing Dogs Association, which invites all of the top racing dogs across the country to compete against one another in a series of difficult race tracks to determine who really is the top dog on the speedway. As the Turbo Dogs prepare themselves for competition unlike any other, things get dicey as the Grand Prix marks one-hundred years since its debut. Can the Turbo Dogs, who usually focused on a solo performance on the track, deal with the transitions of working for not themselves, but a team? The Turbo Dogs could always cooperate with their racecars to win the trophy. But now, could they cooperate with each other just as well against the entire country? The rights to the reoccurring characters in the Turbo Dogs franchise and television show belong to Scholastic Corporation.
