There is no mathematical theory to decipher emotions, much to the regret of Alan Turing. In twentieth-century England, two boys dream of changing the world. However, when the unimaginable happens, that tough job is handed to Alan alone. As a code-breaker, he helps England to victory in the war. Even in a world under fire, which had never felt so lonely, love lurks behind the corner. Can - even by law - forbidden love flourish when you don't know the definition of love? @Ambys winner πŸ†

My chest, always my bloody chest. It was so flat. Why couldn't it be curved? I hated it. It made me feel so uncomfortable. I really was tired of it. It was always the same, when I looked into the mirror. But was it normal to feel that way for man? I am writing this to show how it feels to be born in the wrong body. It truly is a terrible feeling. I had help of one my friends, Cedric, he is transgender (ftm), like me. He helped me with names too. And another friend, Sabine, corrected it after I wrote it. So yeah, thanks a lot.

"It May Be the Devil" extrapolates to the not-so-far future of human-machine interaction. Technology is progressively getting better and better at predicting our needs and wants, making life easier and easier. However, as machines are learning to adapt to us, we are adapting to the machines. Convenience comes at a cost: to the individuality that makes us human. "It May Be The Devil" introduces the unlikely alliance between an individualistic subculture and the machine intelligence that they rebelled against...

The newscaster's face was grim as he looked into the camera, reading from a teleprompter unseen to his audience. He breathed deeply, and began to tell the story. "Tragedy struck in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee today when famed researcher Dr. Lynn Walter-Tuttle was attacked and killed by her own longtime research partner Turing the Bear," he read. He took a deep breath before continuing, "Turing, called Turry for short, was part of a study concerning human and animal cognition. This experiment was wildly controversial, as are most experiments concerning human-animal chimeras. We are joined today by animal expert Matthew Cunningham and human psychologist Dr. Berry Rodrigez, in the hopes of putting together why this happened."

"I propose to consider the question, 'Can machines think?'" This is how Alan Turing starts his famous paper in which he introduces the concept of Turing test, a test to determine whether a machine can think like a human or not. Dr. John Clay has been called upon for a Turing test at the Bishop Research Corp. He is one of the best experts on this topic. He has already been a part of countless Turing tests, but this experience is different. What's different about this test? Read on. *ACHIEVEMENTS - Highest Rank #37 in Wattpad Science Fiction category.
