Jason Grace was a golden boy, growing up in the spotlight with his older sister, absent father, and his alcoholic mother. He knew how to act in front of the paparazzi, he knew which words were forbidden in public, and how to smile every minute of his life. Piper McLean was an actress known only by her father's legacy. After his acting career plummets, it's up to her to "regain" her family's "title." Whatever that meant... Hazel Levesque had walked into the building thinking it was a book club. Now she's playing the book character of her dreams. Nico di Angelo started acting with his sister. After her death, he retreats to a sequel to the last show they did together. He's desperate to forget her laugh and the pain that came with her death. Annabeth Chase was smart, but ran away before she could think clearly. She took this job to avoid the streets, and try to avoid her mother's insane expectations. Leo Valdez just wanted to make people laugh. To become a proper comedian, he decided to gain fame by acting. Frank Zhang went on a self discovery road trip after his mother didnt return from the army. He had a "glow up" and decided to be independent. Leaving his grandmother for a small show, a pitiful sequel for one of the most famous shows in his lifetime. Percy Jackson was doing this for the pay. Get money, try to ignore his growing fame, then give his money to his mother. Help her do her dreams, go to college. An acting gig for a show he had invested years of his life into seemed simple. Too bad it was a sequel.
