This is almost over. A shapeshifter latching into my back jolts me out of my reverie. It's not over yet, far from it. Through my haze of exhaustion, I somehow manage to shake it off. Claws tear into my back, trying to drag me back into the crowd. I feel my blood pooling around me. "Sadie..." I groan and reach out, in human form. Out fingertips touch for a second before my chest sends a pulse of pain through me. What feels like fire rips through me from head to toe. I make an animalistic noise and arch my back. Then I fall, overcome by the crowd. I close my eyes, succumbing to my exhaustion. The last thing I see is Sadie still reaching out to me before I'm swallowed by the press of bodies around me. "Kara!"

Not many people believe in telepathy. You do not have to either. But, my third eye has been open. I have a gift I cannot fully explain without sounding utterly delusional, just insane. This gift allows those who are damned in one way or another to communicate with me through telepathy. They show me whatever they want wish a living person to know. Including their gruesome demise. I have seen many visions of young innocent pure children being hunted down, and brutally slaughtered in cold blood. These souls have a voice and they want to speak. The only way they can is through the mind. This is just ONE of many visions I have received that I am deciding to share with those who may be interested.

This was my short story for Creative Writing. I don't like how it turned out, but I figured I'd post it anyway. My teacher didn't really like it either(I got a 66%).
