During their adventure, they find many people, who they thought could feel the void of their group back home, but it never went exactly as planned. When the world went to shit, Avery didn't spot any difference between this and the world she lived before. Some would say she was even relieved when it happened. She was doing good with her baby brother and her best friend. Well that was before she lost them due to a herd of walkers.
