Clementine, Duck, Dani and Ben formed a 'kids club' at the motel, little under a week before it fell. Little did any of them know that their 'club' would become their own group that took them on the longest journey of their lives. From losing parents, gaining friends, being separated from their original group, caught in revolutions and fighting a war to defend their home.

If you were fortunate enough, you were born with wings. If you weren't, you'd hope a child in your family would born with wings. Lee and his younger brother fell into the former camp, their parents were in the camp with them. Centuries ago, people with wings were once treated as deities, then were hunted, and then treated with the utmost respect. After an apocalypse interrupts Lee's journey to prison, he suddenly finds himself acting as a guardian for a little girl called Clementine. While doing his best to care for and protect her, he finds himself on the long road to redemption.
