After the death of her father Maggie Griffin has just moved to Arizona for a fresh start where she attends Thomas College. The elite high school homes their nationally ranked track team 'Daredevils' which Maggie is eager to be part of but soon finds out the team only accepts boys. Inspired by a chain of events she creates the male persona Lewis Abel to become accepted into the elite team but the captain Will Collins threatens everything when we he begins to have feelings for Maggie but is also impressed by the strangely familiar Lewis. A story of changing the game, breaking the rules and the stereotypes. But amongst the two personas Maggie will need to keep up the charade when unwelcome intrusions come back to ruin the good life she's made and it will take more than a wig to hide it.

Despite not having any magical prowess, she has an obsession with magical theory and has been a star Quidditch player since she was three.
