In a town stitched together by lake water, dock splinters, and the hum of house lights left on after midnight, they're all learning the same thing: Healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about accepting the shape you took to survive. The Shape We Took - Willow Bay is a story about first loves, unlearning everything you were told about yourself, and what it means to finally be seen.

How much can one kiss change a relationship? And how long can that relationship last?

I peered slowly outside my window to see her shivering in the cold November winds. I didn't know her but I felt bad for her. What had she done to deserve this? Three weeks ago, I saw her sitting on the corner of the road where there is shade. She looked well fed and her clothes also weren't torn. This meant that she wasn't some street urchin who wanted nothing to do with their life. Sometimes when she is asleep, I'd leave some food or a few dollars beside her. I wonder who she was. I had never seen her in this part of the city before. In spite of the dirt on her body and clothes, bags under her eyes and how thin she was, she was still very pretty. I had a strange desire to talk to her. I wanted to know her reason for being on the street. But I had my doubts that that'd ever happen. I think I'm in love with the girl living outside.

CURRENTLY UPDATING: (I began to write this when I was twelve, and now I have a clear direction for it, so I'm currently changing ALOT. Bear with me.) 16 year old Alyce Kade has always wanted to escape from her abusive mother. She has never attempted her dream of escaping; the dream finds her. Once she is taken captive, her life is turned upside down. She no longer considers herself a normal teenager. There is only one question lingering in her mind: Is there any escape?

Tyler Joseph went deaf due to a medical mistake when he was eight years old. Because of this, he learned to talk and sing before he went deaf He had fallen in love with music at a young age but now that he's deaf, the only thing he can hear is Blurryface Started: July 10th, 2018 Finished: July 28th, 2018

Tyler Joseph has always had a problem with keeping his demonic thoughts under control. He was in the habit of letting them do as they please. That is until he meets a vibrant-color-haired boy, who Tyler can't bring himself to hurt. (WARNING: Self Harm -it's mentioned but it doesn't go into hardcore details-, Drug Use -it's just weed-, Drinking -it's at a party-) (Chapters are pretty long, there are a few short chapters though)

When Carter Machin found something interesting, he always chased after it. Maya Lee was no exception. *** Carter Machin is a young and successful CEO. Ambitious, intelligent, and bold, his only competitor is an equally successful Maya Lee. The two of them are twisted together, and Carter quickly finds himself enamored by her complexity. She's witty, blunt, and thoughtful, and he loves it. But even though they have the sexual tension, a relationship between them requires more, and he realizes that in order to solve her, he'll need to solve his own problems first.

The cycle has, once again, repeated itself. Dema is now ruled over by 9 new Bishops, the most powerful of which being Clancy, or as he is now known, Nova. Once a pragmatic escapee, Clancy now carries out the one thing he swore to denounce. Vialism. The Banditos have found themselves right back where they started. Seen as the enemy, they still try every means possible to bring peace and safety to the people of Dema, but their attempts are futile. When all hope seems lost, another escapee is found. People assume that she is just another citizen looking for a brief reprieve from the oppression. But they were wrong. She is the only one who can save Trench from the iron fists of the Bishops. She is The Øne. First story! I hope that little blurb hooks you in :3 I will try and update this as much as possible, but, as most people do, I have quite a busy life. Nevertheless, updates will come periodically, and on a Tuesday (IF I CAN GET THEM OUT ON TIME) If you find any grammar mistakes, and/or any mistakes in the lore (e.g timeline order) then please let me know! I will be adding and changing things, but if there's anything blatantly wrong, call me out on it.

Whether it's the weather or the letters by my bed, Sometimes death seems better than the migraine in my head. Arum lost her twin brother to cancer. Trying to live life without him is difficult, even more so already having depression. Maybe this new boy she meets will help her try and live without the constant pain and torture her mind endures. (Takes place in 2011- present. There is a playlist for this book, each chapter i have linked a song that i feel goes perfectly. Please give a listen to the song to better understand those chapters.)

Sometimes we bump into a certain person who is undeniably familiar to us, that we seem to have heard her voice before and that we seem to get used to the person's sick sense of humor. This is what Jake feels around Alex. He would mistake her as Lexa, Chicago's famous radio host and the only girl he has been dreaming to spend the rest of his life with. *sighs* Fanboy issues. It just so happens that his theory is utterly correct, that what he has been thinking about Alex is, without any doubt, the truth. Alex is Lexa. Alex is the very same voice Jake has been hearing on the radio. And she is just pretending to be a normal person, trying to hide the celebrity inside of her. Who knows? The paparazzi can be anywhere. But Jake, being extremely stupid for not pointing out the oh-so-obvious details, doesn't know the exact truth about Alex or anything that is close to knowing her identity. Secrets can still be kept.
