"The Runt of the Litter" is a historical fiction novel about the mentally retarded in 1800s England. The large manor owned by controlling Sir Douglas Michaels is at breaking point, and all due to the shaming secret their attic holds. The one no one can speak of. While being historically accurate it looks into the lives of the head of the household, his wife, the eldest son, a man who could shape the future and of course... The eyes through the runt of the litter.

The trio story is a story of 3 friends . Ken , sam , Ron are the soul characters of the story . Unaware of their intertwined lives they grew besides each other in their high school later to have a destined meet in their 20's.
