Set in the 80s, 20 year old Betty met her first love, the one she spent the whole summer with, the man she never thought she would fell for. James who has his passion for music had Betty as his inspiration for his next album. They spent the whole summer making hits and love. Not long after, James accept the offer to do a tour around the US, leaving Betty in California to pursue his dream. Betty who needs James by her side ended up giving up on him who always say sorry. August '82, 40 years later, the memory is still fresh in Betty's heart.

Here is the alternate ending of Twenty Five Twenty One, where Na Hee Do and Baek Yi Jin finally get the happy ending that they deserve. There's no waiting nor distance in this story. Hee Do fearlessly pursues her fencing dreams with Yi Jin by her side. They continue to do what they do best: fencing, news reporting and loving each other.
