Emerson Augustine is an aimless university student who followed her best friend to Ohio State. She is unsure of her major, her relationship, and her future. When his friend Emerson shows up on his doorstep, injured and terrified, he does what he knows he has to do, help. The friendship the two hold gets tested but also deepens in ways the two could never image as the pitfalls of friendship, love, and one's past collide, changing everything for the two anxious kids and their friends.
