Nayeon is the school's pop kid. She's the president of the dance club and sought after by many boys. She has a close friendship with Jinyoung, also a pop kid and vice-president of the dance club, he is Nayeon's dance partner. Nayeon is friends with Jeongyeon and Momo, but Jinyoung enjoys bullying Momo because her talent might become a threat to Nayeon. Jinyoung fell for Nayeon at first sight but hid his feelings to keep their friendship. Jeongyeon is a role model and a motherly figure in her class. She tries to hide from people's attention and gossips and doesn't take sides among friends, staying true to her morals. Despite her cheerful character, she has a lot of struggles. She stays alone with her grandma, helping out at her snack stand whenever possible, while juggling school and her part-time job at a bakery. Kyunghoon, the class president, is her boyfriend and neighbour, and also a close childhood friend. He is always around and tries his best to help Jeongyeon, despite her independent self. Momo is a talented dancer and is a member of the dance club. However. she is treated as an outcast. Momo started becoming Jinyoung's "servant" because of her soft-spoken self and her inability to stand up for herself. Heechul, a transfer student, stepped in to defend her on his first day of school and got into the bad books of Jinyoung.
