My strange, little, illustrious dreams - the ones that bring me a quiet kind of happiness, and perhaps, might make you feel something too. 3rd Place in Mystery/Thriller - Books Got Talent 2020 "babe where are you?" "Right outside the terminal. I don't see you." Daniella Spencer is flying to meet her boyfriend Luca just like she has done many times in the past. This time, something is off. Will she arrive at the right time? After the plane lands, she collects her luggage... but at this point, she would rather be surprised than try to force things so she goes out of the terminal... "Come here, baby girl! Come here to mama!" A beautiful voice is heard across the arrival terminal. Daniella turns around to witness what she can only call 'a picture-perfect Kodak moment'! As she stares at the young woman playing with her dog, Daniella realizes that the young woman was one of the passengers on her flight. She remembers seeing her on her way back from the bathroom. Her beautiful long dark mane captured her attention along with her interesting shade of pink lipstick. "Only a few lucky women in the world could pull off that specific shade of fuchsia" she recalled thinking to herself as their eyes met. "Aw Dani, I missed you too! Who's a good girl? I love you, I love you so much! Did you miss me? Where's Daddy?" A tall 5'11", leanish, shaggy-haired blonde man joins them. "Luca! Baby! I was starting to think the dog came alone to pick me up!" the beautiful young woman says as she lazily throws her arms around her partner. Daniella blinks rapidly as knots form all over her body. "What the hell is going on here?! What is my Luca, MY LUCA doing with this hoe? Are you... Are you f**king kidding me right now?... This is the deck of cards I'm handed today????" Daniella halts herself and thinks again. She regulates her breathing and tames her temper before continuing. "Was it The Universe's way of preparing me for this moment? Okay... All I know is that the only Happening that is Happening right now is me throwing hands at the airport at this fuschia b***ch."

A pedestrian crossing a bridge notices a man experiencing some kind seizure. The compassion this pedestrian feels leads him to an inescapable realization...

It's cocktail hour for Corey Burke on Flight 6805. On his way to see his mistress, Burke meets a fellow passenger who is far more than a curious seat mate. When the conversation goes from small talk to the mysteries of the universe, Corey has a sobering realization that the man he's talking to is not in his right mind... or of this Earth.

It all started Christmas Eve night, during the Blizzard...

A fair number from Rhemulin, Vholchan, Kro'Nez, and many from The Isles settled some of their people on a peninsula. Many other sentient beings also made this peninsula their home. All continue to develop and maintain cultural centers and educational institutions.

[Heathrow to Honolulu- the black box files. December 15 2008. Moments before we lost contact and it had the unplanned crash. Written commented from Heathrow's head captain. Delivery to Scotland Yard] An announcement sound is made and you can hear the rattling and heavy breathing coming from the cabin. "We regret to inform our passengers that uh- a decision has been made. Our flight crew have suggested we make a fast emergency landing at Miami airport. This aircraft will be experiencing some turbulences- please do not ah-" There is a pause in the tape as it is suspected the pilot sees what is up ahead and cannot form words. The copilot takes control "Our 105 departure on this LHR-HNL flight" The copilot seems to jump and his voice breaks, his words became shaken "- ah - pardon the inconvenience. Ok so ah- we will hopefully land in Miami safety. At 8 6 1 we hope to land. Ok? So 861... We advise listen and follow the staff so we can have a orderly exit of this aircraft. Once again we apologise." We suspect the lights went out and the plane made its descent. The storm was rough that night. At least we believe it was a storm, however from autopsy reports of washed up parts of the aircraft- we cannot comforted say it went down by a natural disaster. • • • Welcome to The Static Gentleman RP. My first RP that I will attempt to run. I want to make it a mystery role play which can be described as a role play like 'Lord of the Flies', 'Lost' and 'The Twilight Zone'. It will follow from the events of a mysterious crash on a deserted island, were the passengers must work together to get home.

During the most difficult period of my life, I wrote this short story for an evening writing class that I took trying to keep busy and trying to get my personal life back on track. I was single again after many events ended up with me getting divorced. At that time, I had felt lost, lonely and very guilty for being responsible for the failure of my marriage and leaving a newly born daughter behind. She and her mother had moved back to home. I found this typewritten story in old family files. It had many typos because I was too lazy back then to retype long documents like this on a manual typewriter. I scanned it into Word, cleaned up (I hope) most of the typos and edited some of the badly structured sentences. I was impressed with my young self reading it

Seemingly straight out of a Twilight Zone episode, the main character has no gender or emotion and tries to function in society with everyone else.

Her family tried to love her, even though she was a serial killer. She thought it was the best way to express her love. Who is this person and why does she feel the need to kill?

Henry Bemis is a kind hearted, good natured man. The only survivor of a nuclear apocalypse. All he wanted was time, time to be left alone, time to read. He will find time, time enough at last, in the Twilight Zone. This story is merely a fictional rewriting of the Twilight Zone episode, Time Enough At Last.
