This is for all you sad saps out there who are heart broken because you read Twist and Shout.. After writing his letter to Cas, Dean put Abby to bed and then he fell asleep on the couch. When he wakes up he's not on Sam and Jess' couch, instead he is in a white room he isn't familiar with.

Dean Winchester died in 1992, all he wanted was to go back to the love of his life. Then he came back. It's 2010 and Dean wakes up as a hunter, Sam's got long hair and monsters are trying to kill him. It's not glamorous. Then he sees Cas. But gold framed glasses and sweaters are long gone. Now he's decked out in a trench coat and suit, oh and he's an angel of the lord apparently. Dean's overjoyed to see him, but there's one slight problem... Cas doesn't know him, at least not in the way he should.

Dangerously Close is a collection of short stories that takes you on a journey into a world of the strange and the unexplainable. Summary: His jaw tightened, doubt almost starting to sink in, when the sound of a door opening caught his attention. This is an alternate ending to the very famous faniction, Twist & Shout by Gabriel and Standbyme. I do not own any of the characters or the story line. I've read the original story 5 times, and every time i ugly cry, and I just want a universe where Cas and Dean are happy. So here we go. This story picks up from the end of chapter 8, where Dean left Cas after he had returned from the war.
