This is an alternate ending to the very famous faniction, Twist & Shout by Gabriel and Standbyme. I do not own any of the characters or the story line. I've read the original story 5 times, and every time i ugly cry, and I just want a universe where Cas and Dean are happy. So here we go. This story picks up from the end of chapter 8, where Dean left Cas after he had returned from the war.

Dean has always made mistakes, but this one was irreversible. If you could turn back time, what would you change?

The blossoming relationship between Castiel and Dean is troubled by war, and comes to a tragic end when Cas passes from disease. In this continued piece, Dean delivers the letters he writes to Cas to his grave.
