Gim Bok-hui is not your typical girl from the countryside of Daegu, South Korea. Growing up around games thanks to a family friend who ran a game shop, she learned early on how to face challenges head-on. Bright, energetic, and endlessly positive, Bok-hui has always stood out-even among adults.
But nothing could prepare her for this.
One day, without warning, she finds herself in a completely different world. A place that feels like something out of a storybook-filled with knights, magic, and a reality that doesn't follow the rules she knows. There's no explanation. No guide. No way back.
And she is alone.
At first, it's confusing. A little frightening, even. But Bok-hui doesn't stay lost for long. Instead of questioning everything, she makes a simple decision: if she's here, then there must be a reason.
That reason comes sooner than she expects.
She is told that this world is on the brink of collapse-and that she is the one meant to save it.
It's absurd. Unreal. Almost laughable.
But Bok-hui doesn't laugh.
She doesn't overthink it, either.
"If it has to be done, then I'll do it."
That's all there is to it.
With no grand plan and no dramatic hesitation, she steps forward. Not because she's fearless, but because standing still isn't her way. Even with the quiet weight of loneliness pressing in, she chooses to move, to act, to live fully in the moment.
This is not the story of a chosen hero who questions destiny.
This is the story of a girl who accepts it-and makes it her own.
In a world that makes no sense, Bok-hui doesn't wait for answers.
She becomes the answer.
