On May 31st, 2013, young Tyler Owens, the newly self-made social media star known for live-streaming storms, thinks it'll just be an ordinary evening. Julia turns to some old friends of hers to help them stay in the down low for awhile until John loses interest in finding them. But one night when the gang is all sleeping at Julia's friends house, the Twisters find them and attack. Julia and the family try to escape, but they soon come to find out that they are trapped and surrounded by Twisters. Julia tries to open a portal, but she can't because the orange diamond had fallen off her ring. Without the diamond on the ring, they're stuck and trapped. John now has the upper hand by taking everybody hostage, and interrogating them all. He's more interested in Julia because she's the second most powerful Tinkerers besides Egor. Phillip tries to help out by pulling out his wife's ring and putting it on, but the ring rejects him. Amy then takes the ring from Phillip and puts it on only to find out that she's the descendant of a former Tinkerer. Little did Amy know, is that her grandmother Susie was a Tinkerer herself. That's why she wanted the camera so badly.

A sequel to Twister. Picks up where the film left off, then is set 22 years after the events of the first film, the story follows Jenna Harding, Bill and Jo's daughter, who is following in her parents footsteps. Her ultimate dream is to venture inside a tornado to achieve scientific measurements. Can they achieve the ground breaking data that they've been searching for? This is also a prequel to Twisters, to tie the two films together.
