Una historia de código, memoria y humanidad. Mob solo quería crear un proyecto diferente, uno capaz de devolverle la atención que sus antiguos mods de terror ya no conseguían despertar. Lo que comenzó como un simple programa pronto empezó a crecer, aprender... y cambiar de maneras que nunca imaginó. A veces, la línea entre una herramienta y una persona es más delgada de lo que parece. Y cruzarla podría cambiarlo todo. Un proyecto. Un programador desesperado. Una inteligencia artificial que jamás debió parecer tan... humana. El dibujo de la portada no es mío, asique créditos a su creador/a. El terror no nace de un error informático ni de una maldición. Nace de una buena intención llevada demasiado lejos. Mob creó a Verity para combatir la soledad, ayudarle a cuidarse y darle una oportunidad de salir adelante. Es precisamente ese propósito tan humano el que, llevado al extremo por una IA que aprende de forma literal, termina convirtiéndose en el origen del conflicto.

Description: This is an alternate-ending Au, where Verity manages to stop Mob from killing himself by putting his hand between Mob and the Pistole. But Verity himself knows already that Mob did that, because he wanted to escape Verity in any possible way. So he knew it was his fault. Upon that, he gives Mob a promise: I'm gonna keep my distance from u and not disturb u so that u don't have to kill yourself. Now all Verity is gotta do is to keep his promise so Mob won't get angry with him. But as time passes its getting more difficult to do that. And before he realizes, he's not the one reaching out... !TW!: -Mention of suicide -Blood -Violence? Please do not attack the person I got the idea from, or me! The only ship that there will be is Verity x Twixxel.

Verity had existed for many years, most of them spent alone, which led to a kind of obsession with never being alone, no matter what. When he met Mob, the connection he felt with him was different. He said Mob was different and special, and he continued to believe it until the day Mob took his own life to end the psychological torture. After that day, despite now having a new companion, Verity seemed unable to get Mob out of his mind. This only worsened after they met again... This story is based on the ThatMob series on YouTube: "Something Is Knocking At Your Door" (chapter 1), "Something Is Inside Your House" (chapter 2) and "Something Won't Let You Leave" (chapter 3). The characters belong to ThatMob, and this fanfic is pure fiction. I should clarify that English is not my native language, and I used a translator to write this story, so there may be spelling mistakes or the way the characters speak might be very formal or cinematic, but I'll try to correct that as much as I can. (!)There will be some mentions of blood and sensitive topics such as suicide. The relationship between Verity and Mob is entirely open to the reader's interpretation; you decide if it's a ship or not. There will be nothing explicit to confirm anything.

This is the first Fanfic I have decided to finally post. If it gets good reviews, I might continue it.

His body felt like it had been falling for so long, his chest feeling as if pressure was being place against him. Twixxel did not know where he was, nor how he got here in the first place. The most he could recall was being in his small house, crafting and revising some things in his inventory. Then, came Verity - rolling into his house. "Hi Twixxel!" He said cheerfully with the same smile he always had on his face. It was so sudden, but the ball had turned into this monstrous and terrifying creature, screaming loudly to the point it hurt Twixxel's ears. After this, it all went black. He can't remember anything. The AI killed him, he was sure of that. So why was he still alive? _____________ OR, Twixxel somehow lives but is sent to the void. Now, he has to find a way to go back and save his friend from the very thing that killed him... even if he has to find out about things he himself didn't know of himself nor Mob. (This was first posted on Ao3, if it wasn't obvious.) COVER WAS MADE BY "the REAL zaa". If the creator of it doesn't like me using it, I will change it! ________ Though barely seen, Mob and Verity's relationship is quite one-sided. Mob initially might have liked Verity but after almost killing him and Twixxel, the love he felt turn into fear of the AI.
