When Jude's sister gets caught up in suspicious business with Flame members, an evil organization set to get Cardan off the throne (and Balekin on it), everything turns on its head- -and Jude and Cardan might be hiding secrets of their own.. from each other. Jude told you her side of the story, now it's Cardan's turn. One shots from The Cruel Prince series told from Cardan's point of view, because I needed it. Spoilers, obviously, and angsty as hell most of the time.

It's only after the end of the war with the Undersea; led by Madoc, that Cardan discovers the reason his wife has never returned to Elfhame. Now, he's ready to do anything to bring her back, and whoever has entered her life since she left. Originally posted on AO3 by me under the same title.

Cardan and Jude travel to the mortal world to visit Vivi and Heather for some exciting news! While there Cardan learns about Taylor Swift and Oliva Rodrigo. Is he more of a swifite or does he prefer Oliva?
