Why does this person who loves her more than she'd ever give credit for, knows that Nyra shares a really good bond with Naina and how the latter was genuinely invested in being Nyra's friend or person she wants her to be, irrespective of whether she moves on or not. yet he decides to keep her away hiding his feelings for her. Unless she gets to the root cause of his behaviour she ain't going to sort this out - Raj believed in facts & first person reality rather than third person accounts of how things are or can be! Yash ji & George were on her side. They wanted Raj to actually move on, be less analytical and be in the moment. And also realise that letting his love life take a back seat wasn't in anyway going to help or protectt his daughter from all the permutation & combination of issues his brain had already drafted. FYI Raj being all guarded is a given, and if she's going to hit him with - I know you love me, I know it all. Then it's a very easy decision for him - he'd just make sure he disagrees or finds all reasons to prove how misfit this was! No person can always remain emotionally detached- especially when you get to witness innate love, care affection right under your nose. People/heart dishing character certificates or monologues about how things could work is no way better than getting to experience it first hand. So that's her plan. 💪🏻✌🏻
