This is a story I wrote from the perspective of "Sylvia" from S.E. Hinton's novel, "The Outsiders". I dived into how she met Dallas Winston, their dynamic, and how the events from the original novel impacted her. Please keep in mind that this is my first time writing something like this!! I haven't seen a lot of these and only one that was truly Realistic. So I decided to just make my own

Birdie Reeves, aka Falcon Kid, is an outlaw from 1880. She's on the run from the law, thanks to her crimes in Texas, when she accidentally time travels to 1965. She's startled by all the new technology, of course, but the Greasers help her out. Birdie struggles to settle down in the new life that was sprung onto her against her will, but a certain Two-Bit Mathews catches feelings and makes her feel at home. (so i know absolutely nothing about 1880. or 1965. or texas, or oklahoma. so please forgive me if there's any inaccuracies i've spent more time RESEARCHING about those time periods than actually writing, so... yeah.)
