The story follows Chance Elizabeth Dent, a daughter of infamous Two-face, working as an iligal doctor in Gotham city. She meets many people in her line of work. Every odd chapter showcase Chance's adult life in Gotham while every even chapter is about Two-face coordinating his life of crime while taking care of a young Chance.

This story follows Tim Drake as Robin and his adventures with batman. Just like the previous boy wonders he must leave Batman to pave his own path. He turns into Red Robin and goes on a stream of jobs he can't hold and a new marriage. Juggling crime, a wife, a strict father figure, and the struggles of adult hood, Tim breaks, and his performance hit a slum. He's being beaten up more, he loses his pinkie and his hope. Assigening her to test Gothams protector. Fighting him and making him face situation that every normal human being would break at. Being influenced by her masters words and orders she pushes Gothams dark knight as far to the edge of breaking as she can, never doubting her masters intention until she met the Batman face to face.
