"Beth," vyslovil jej meno a ja som sa pristihla pri tom ako veľmi som túžila počuť z jeho pier to moje. Nemo som sa na neho zahľadela a premýšľala nad tým ako by asi zareagoval ak by zistil, že nie som ona. Ak by zistil, že jeho najlepšia kamarátka zomrela už dávno a ja som len jej kópiou. Dievča, o ktorej existencii nikto nevedel a ktorá v podstate ukradla život svojej mŕtvej sestry. "Hovor so mnou," prikročil ku mne na čo som sa zhlboka nadýchla. "Mal by si ma nechať ísť," šepla som rozrušene. "Raz som ťa už nechal ísť a skoro som o teba definitívne prišiel. Znova to už neurobím," pokrútil razantne hlavou. "Harry musíš pochopiť, že to kým som bola a kým som dnes sú dve rozdielne osoby," snažila som sa ho od seba odohnať už asi po stý krát. "Ja viem," prikývol s úsmevom zatiaľ čo sa jeho prsty nežne dotkli môjho pravého líca. "A musím priznať, že táto verzia Bethany sa mi páči viac ako kedykoľvek predtým."
