The world was separated into two when the world's two smartest scientist couldn't agree on whether humans behaved better if they knew how they would die versus when. The "How"s know from the day they were born how they were going to die, and the "When"s knew the exact year, month, time, day, minute... second... that their life will end. Each citizen in "How" is forced to get the tattoo in a certain area for their gender: inner thigh for the men, and under their breasts for the women.. Each citizen in "When" has a countdown on the inner wrist of their dominant hand. Which one is truly better? Knowing how you will die, or when? And does this truly make us the better humans?
