This is a KitTy fan fiction! It takes place 5 years after Queen of Air and Darkness. Ty's POV I thought this day was going to be normal. It was just supposed to be a normal Saturday. I wasn't supposed to wake up to screaming or to the sounds of battle. Nor was I supposed to lose someone, but then again, I wasn't supposed to lose Kit. 1 day before

***SPOILERS FOR QOAAD AND GOTSM*** Clary is missing. A centurion has been requested to take care of the problem, and Tessa, as a personal favor, has volunteered her adoptive son as well. Dru, cleverly escaping babysitting duty, volunteers as well, as an excuse to see her brother. This would all be totally fine. Three years ago, it was totally fine. Except Kit still isn't over Ty, and Ty isn't over Kit yet either (not that he knows there's anything to be over). Canon compliant.

Takes place after QOAAD.

Christopher "Kit" Herondale and Tiberius "Ty" Blackthorn following the events after Lady Midnight. Ty starts opening up more, trusting Kit almost fully. Kit had always preferred to be alone. His family consisted only of his father and him. And even then, his father was away all the time. Ty Blackthorn came from a large family, seven children, and an uncle, even though he was practically insane. Ty grew up in the institute, surrounded by family, and other personnel that he was close to. Kit had grown up in the basement of a shack in downtown LA. Ty is the only one that understands Kit's need for solitude, especially after watching his father get murdered by demons. Kit is the only who understands Ty's autism. They call themselves even. / set after QOAAD but Livvy didn't die.

After three years Kit and Ty meet again

Christopher, or Kit, as he prefers to be called, is a sarcastic, rash boy - much like his cousin Jace. Although he doesn't want to accept it, his life is changing, his feelings are growing, and his heart is opening.

Will he be able to move past being in love with him?
