I might add Ty's pov on his possible feelings for Kit as well. But this is just Kit being reflective af and so gone for Ty.

But tall skyscrapers didn't belong in Cornwall. Onyx wasn't anywhere nearby he noticed as he looked around. She must have closed the portal early. She was working on her portals after all. Or he was dragged out of the portal. He had heard of that happening before. Whatever was the reason, he was not where he was supposed to be. Three years after the Shadowhunters were kicked out of Idris, Ty is now a centurion. He is heading to a mission, but never ends up to the location. His best friend is on another mission too, but she is keeping secrets. Kit has been happily living with Tessa and Jem for the three years, but he is suddenly torn away from the world. And the Shadows of the Downworld are finally seen.

*WILL HAVE QUEEN OF AIR AND DARKNESS SPOILERS* It's been two years since Kit left the Los Angeles institute. Two years of not seeing the Blackthorns or Ty. Two years of being absolutely heartbroken. Kit will be going to Idris with Tessa and Jem for the wedding of Emma and Julian. He will finally see Ty again. Will he still be in love with him after not seeing him for so long? Will he be able to move past being in love with him?
