Tyler Hernandez wasn't the brightest in the bunch, he'll admit that himself, but he also knows that he wasn't exactly stupid. So in hindsight, he should have seen it coming, he should have known what was about to happen, and yet....he didn't.
Not until the plan was in full swing, not when the signs flashed neon in his mind and nagged him for hours. But what haunted him the most was the fact that he did nothing about it, he should have tried, he should have fought harder, because in the end, in what he thought was the end, he failed
So he decided that he didn't care about stupid dimensions and portals and whatever science had been behind it. He acted, in the only way he could think of, in the only way that mattered because he knew he could save him. He would give his life to, but he couldn't do it alone.
