Tyler Joseph was just an average overlooked 'nerd' in school. Josh Dun was the schools most popular guy. So of course he was dating the schools most popular girl, Debby. Then Josh does something Tyler never thought would happen.

Tyler and josh weren't like the rest. 11th grade, beautifully young. Tyler's troubled and so is josh, they've been friends since middle school. Josh is the anxious type and Tyler is the jumpy type.

Why Tyler even went along with this in the first place, he still didn't know. And why his sister had thought that Tyler going on to a national TV show to go on a 24-hour date with a stranger was a good idea, he also still didn't know. The regrets were there, and the nerves even more. This had been a bad idea, but he couldn't back out now. He just had to go in there and survive those first 24 hours. He wasn't forced to stay there for the whole five full days. He just needed to get through 24 hours. Then he could go back home to the safety of his own bed and dream about some day finding that one person for him. 'Cause he sure as heck knew he wasn't gonna find the one on a TV show... ...was he?

"What happened to your car radio?" Viva giggled pointing at the empty slot in my car. "Uh I think somebody stole it." I shrugged. "Any normal person would." She grinned. I put my hand in hers before starting the car. "Thank you for helping me Viva." I whispered. "No problem Tyler. That's what I'm here for." I swear she was sent down as my guardian angel. I hardly knew this girl 2 days ago and now I'm mentally planning dates that will probably never happen. Why is Viva here? How did they meet? What's going to happen with them?..

Mixed up and mischevous, Tyler and Josh are unable to be truthful at one point or another. Their journey and inability to be alone together leads to situations and thoughts neither of them thought they would have.
