In this city, nothing is accidental. They are all ordinary, if you look at them the right way. As the saying goes; innocent, until proven guilty, But nothing in this city is ever proven. And no one is ever just one thing.

Typhoon has always been told that he is lucky. He can't say they are wrong. His fiance, the guy he has been engaged to for most of his life is who most people consider perfect. He is academically brilliant, charming, awfully good-looking and above all that has a heart of gold. The engagement was arranged but Tonfah, his fiance has always been kind to him. He smiles like an angel but the eyes, the eyes speak a different story. They are of a starved devil. A velvet covered knife that no one sees coming till it's too late. A short story of a college student who travelled to the Philippines to study its culture, believing they are observing the country as an outsider. During a severe typhoon, as communities unite to support one another, the narrator meets an old woman who recognizes the wooden rosary in their hand, revealing that the narrator's lola was her long-lost sister. What began as an academic study becomes a personal journey of discovering their true heritage and finding their way home.

A story about a man smoking at the footbridge even if the typhoon is pouring out. His mind is just like the typhoon right now, confused and his thoughts are scattering. The title has no relevance to the snow, but I borrowed it from KGZ (Former pseudonym of James Landino, also hey he's a good music composer. Check him out)

Tragedies are inevitable things. One may or may not know that he or she would be part of a catastrophe. Some may have premonitions or hunches of what is coming. Either way, no one could be saved. This is a story of a family, torn by a catastrophe. But fate led two half sisters to meet and to be the last family the each other has.

Caught in a sudden typhoon while touring Japan on a bicycle, the author is given a helping hand by the locals in his time of need.

‘If you will consider Me during these days of grace, if you will turn your ways and repent towards Me, if you will rise up from the sleep of callousness, nothing of this danger will come upon your land. I will bind them; I will turn the winds away; I will scatter the diseases; I will cause your irrigation land to be fertile; I will cause a hundred-fold harvest in your fruits.’

Set against the backdrop of a devastating typhoon, "The Rain That Washed Us Away" is a gripping tale of resilience, love, and survival. When a relentless downpour submerges the city, a group of people find themselves trapped and fighting for their lives. As the waters rise, so do their fears and secrets. Amidst the chaos and despair, they must learn to trust one another and fight not only against the elements but also against the darkness within themselves. Will the rain be their final goodbye, or will it be the storm that brings them closer together?

Okay, so basically, this isn't the exact story. I changed SOME details because I was kinda forgetting it. I changed the names for privacy. Thank you. :) This is for our Science project by the way and this story is told by HER. Like, really HER. If you know what I mean.

This is based from a true story. Our area is really prone to natural disasters, so it's not common to us. We've experienced the super typhoon Yolanda as well back 2013. It's still traumatic but we manage to recover. A very big thanks to the foreign helpers, I couldn't mention all of the organization name because there's too many.
