Stories are always told from the rebels' point of view, overthrowing the iron-fisted ruler. But what about the evil monarch's point of view? What about their side of the story? This is a rebellion, from the king's point of view. I knew they were coming for me. When was the only question. How didn't matter. Assassins, poison -- they all have the same result: death. My death. Huron Kelsara was a mighty king, well respected, and loved. Then, he lost his beloved wife to a freak fire. This caused many things to him. First, he became grief-stricken. Second, he unwillingly became a tyrant that must be taken down. Once he died, the unexpected happened.
