Katsuki Bakugou hated people. He hated friendships and relationships and anything that had the potential to bring him close to others. Bakugou was only his quirk. That's all people ever thought he was. Friends were a waste of time to him. Society had forced him to sprint forward, and now he felt that everyone would just leech off of his success.
