The fortress city of Arnault was once seen as a shining beacon of hope for those of the Aryalian Kingdom. The Kingdom of Aryalia has been beset by armies of demons and their horrific war beasts, large winged warriors clad in hellish armor and wings of fire fill the skies. The Army of the Bloodless rolls across the plains essentially uncontested, for Eons the Bloodless were held at bay by a group of Armored knights wielding holy magics and holy relics called Resplendents but after a Demon Worshiper named Ozana raised an army to take Arnault. 223 years ago the Bloodless laid siege upon the great city, they were repulsed but not defeated. The Bloodless were able to lay a devastating blow to the resplendants, causing them to fall into obscurity. With both armies severely weakened, the great city was left to its own devices. Due to this it led to two millennia of peace, then Ozawa returned. Mutated and hellish in appearance, Ozana now leads the Bloodless as one of the Demon King's Generals. The Army of the Bloodless has regained its strength and is on its way to take back what they think is theirs. Jase is a run of the mill town guard for Arnault. When Arnault is attacked he finds that he has magic that hasn't been seen in decades, then he finds a holy relic while defending an ancient tomb. The ancient tomb speaks to him, explaining to him that he is the first resplendant in 200 years.

1 of 3 works in my dedication series. This one is about about my first love(s) and how different those loves were. Keep in mind these were unrequited loves (for the most part) that I experienced during highschool. It's also about betrayal and navigating heartbreak. I hope you have fun putting the pieces together and finding your own interpretation. These are very personal to me and also some of my first drafts, please be kind!
