After succeeding in MIT, life for Hunter J Ryder the Doberman, seems to fall in line:His old acquaintance offering him a position within a promising job, meeting a new team of smart dogs that share Hunter's desire for innovation, and even the chance to tutor an old friend. However, a new threat arises that threatens not only Hunter's life, but everything he thought he new. his newfound dream job, even his old acquaintance isn't who she seems. Hunter takes it upon himself to set his own path, not letting others dictate or manipulate his life anymore. With this in mind, and some inspiration from history, Hunter becomes his own boss and becomes the vigilante known as Captain Canine.

Hunter J Ryder, the Doberman, has ambitious life goals of being the first dog to enter MIT and afterwards work for a tech company. However, Hunter finds himself in an unhealthy habit of procrastination as he hesitates to even initiate his life goals. Hunter then tries a new route by way of his owner's new job in a newly established public service organization comprised of a team of dogs with a human leader. This new organization has been labeled as the U.S. Department of Canine First Responders, the U.D.C.F.R. After some complications and some motivation from a mysterious Labrador, Hunter gets over his procrastinating habit and resumes his life goal. Now Hunter must juggle fulfilling his dream and helping the UDCFR. Join Hunter as he witnesses the beginning of every child's favorite story told in a new light.
