Everyone has weaknesses, I learned that very early on in life. Everyone has problems, that too, was learned early on. Another thing I learned quickly was that monsters who happen to hid under your bed and in your closet don't exist.... but the monsters do, real monsters follow you wherever you go, true monsters are created by people, their fears, doubts, and addictions. Sometimes young kids can see them, because the only ones who see them are those who believe. Adults don't see them because culture has made it that way. Every parent tells their kids monsters don't exist, that it's nothing to worry about. So as people grow older they do not see the monsters that cling to the bodies of most of the worlds population. People are blind to them. Then there is me, that remainder, maybe it's because I never grew up with someone to tell me monsters don't exist, but I'm 16 now, and I still see the monsters. I can't decide if I'm lucky to know the truth, or cursed, because sometimes I wish I was like everyone else, ignorant. But I'm not. ~Preview~ The girl crumbled as she her sobs ran through the cafeteria, but they were drowned out. Drowned by the laughter that reminded me of a horde of cackling hyenas. They threw anything, everything. I just stood there. Oh, were you expecting me to do something, is this the time I was supposed to step in like a gallant knight and defend the damsel in destress from evil? Do you want me to go stand in front of her as a shield and guard her from the onslaught?! Is that what you want? Is that what you want? Sorry. If that's what you were expecting, but it turns out you're not reading the story of a hero, this isn't the story of a noble knight, this isn't the story of good deeds and honest actions. You're reading my story, your ready a story about reality.
