Satoshi Ito is a Japanese-English guy, who likes tea, ramen and his nice house in town just outside London. But as it turns out, the Earth is scheduled for destruction by a terribly bureaucratic race with even worse art taste, however, Satoshi's best friend, Thomas McLeod, a Scotsman who is actually an alien from the other end of the galaxy, whisks him away on the ship sent to destroy them. Now they have to find a way to save their home. Along the way their lives will collide with a depressed god, an annoying black hole and the owners of Earth. Will they succeed? Or will they be forever drowned in endless paperwork? Buckle up, this'll be quite the ride!

This is the first chapter to a Work in Progress YA Sci-fi Novel. I hope it piques your interest. I feel like this chapter works as a short story.
