All days in Underfell are for Sans the same... but still, even if he had lost his hope for the underground... He didn't kill himself... just because of that moments that Papyrus or for him Boss for ones care even if it is just one day or just a couple of hours.

You were bored, so 'why not write letter?' you thought. There were lot's of companies that offered their services, but the most popular one was M&H. It stood for Monsters and Humans, if that wasn't obvious. It was made for people who wanted to meet potential friends but preferred having the option to remain anonymous. Why letters and not an online chatroom or something? You don't know, for the aesthetic maybe. So, you gave it a shot, you wrote a letter and sent it off. The reply you got was... disheartening. They didn't even want to do this, they were forced into it, but somehow you started writing and replying. It was fun, and with time, you started wishing to meet them. All you knew was that they were almost certainly a monster, and that they had an accent even when writing. The letters began having a flirty tone to them, and feelings came into play. It was nerve wracking, but worth it, in the end. A while later, you met the monster, a skeleton named Sans. The guy always had jokes and mustard to spare, and by jokes you meant roasts. They still made you laugh, he made you laugh. The letters were your guide to a happy relationship with your funny bone man, and you couldn't be more proud of your past self for taking that step. And sometimes, those memories resurface.

Word has been released that monsters now roamed the surface, and you can't help but feel slightly skeptical. You had been told since childhood that monsters were vile and repulsive creatures who wanted nothing more but human blood pouring from the palm of their hand. You didn't know what to think of the monster race, but majority of the human race did. The tension between monsters and human kind was sickening. People had told you to stay away from monsters at all costs. But that'll be a bit difficult when two skeleton brothers move in next door to you. And why bother lying? You can't deny that one of them has stuck on your mind. (Warning. There's a lot of colourful language, so just a heads up. And also, the artwork doesn't belong to me. Credits to the rightful owner.)
