Hanahaki Disease - An illness born from a one-sided love, flowers will grow from a persons chest. The flowers block their airways causing them to cough up the petals, for as long as the love is one-sided the disease will take over the persons body. Ugetsu has a familiar feeling take over his heart after seeing Akihiko's face once he had finished playing his new piece 'Periwinkle'. Love. As the story goes on Ugetsu realizes his feelings for Akihi but refuses to accept that it could be happening again, only leading to his favorite flower taking over his body.
