MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE Annabelle, known as Anna, was a Prototype doll. She was known as Prototype model 12 1/2, meaning she could never go to the Big World and be loved by a child. She is put at the Institute of Perfection and deemed to be 'perfect', but she is rejected after failing the gauntlet, then being forced to tell who she truly is.
