When a 17 year old boy accidentally saves a girl who is about to commit suicide off an apartment balcony, this chance encounter leads them both to madly falling in love with each other as they continue to meet after school. However, this isn't just any romance story, the girl suffers from thanatos illness which causes her to seek death, while the boy hopes to help her search for reasons to live. A story inspired by the song Yori Ni Kakeru (Racing into the Night), the relationship of the hopeful boy and the broken girl will lead you to tears. "Could you live for me?"

The other stood next to the boy, his hair a bright shade of yellow; like a highlighter. It would've been a perfect picture if it weren't for the girl in black who looked like death compared to the others. She felt like death too. She is me; Bethany Carter.
