18 days. That's all it's been. 18 days since the infection has happened. 18 days since my life has restarted. 18 days since more than 9/10 of the population has died off. 18 days since everything has been shut down and the "Brave" has taken over. We didn't want this. We never thought it would happen. But of course, all good things come crashing down. Our dreams become our safe heaven and our reality becomes our nightmare. We don't always get what we want. We learned that the hard way. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello! Hopefully you like this description since I am terrible with them. Anyways, this story is focused on an girl around the age of 16 in an apocalyptic world. She keeps her past and her name her only secret. She works on helping the last few survivers and is basically a medic. She is wanted by a group called the "Brave" even though they are selfish jerks who only care about killing anyone out of their little group. I'm stopping here so I don't spoil the entire book. Nine kids wake up, stranded, on a deserted island in an unknown region. They all have to face trials and challenges throughout the two weeks they have to survive, they must build a camp and also protect themselves against nature's evil. They must find their own food and water and make sure they all stay healthy. Everyone relies on themselves and each other otherwise, it won't end well for anyone.

This is a POV-like story based off of an Urban Legend. 'Forest Of The Unknown'. 50,000 people had gone missing. Nobody knows if they are dead or alive. A group of friends read about it. They dared Rox to go to the forest and explore. Alone. He has a camera to prove that he had indeed went. Exploring the horrors within this forest. Beware of it's twists and tricks. I take a little step backwards for space but it is no use because he have me up against the walls. "I have really no idea of what you are talking about because nobody see me like that and I am perfectly fine with being alone" i said doubtlessly believing him and my breathe hitch up a bit shaky when I think he is about to kiss me but unfortunately he turns around to walks out my room door.
