Russia started off the high school being quit poor, not having much friends, always tired, and being pretty depressed. He's decided to have hope this school year and change himself to be a better person. Hoping that he'll make more friends and that his life will be better. America started off his school year being as energetic and playful like a child but depressed, not really looking forward to the year, and starting to feel like everyone hates him. He's starting to give up and, obviously, starting to feel more insecure. Hopefully, these two will find their joy in some way. either through each other or through life itself.

Roses is a metaphor for a very special scene, place and friendship through out the story. A mystery nickname for a visitor in America's weird dreams after he visits a special meadow with Russia. ... Ukraine is a normal boy in high school until he finds out that his old best friend, Canada is transferring to his school. Join Ukraine and Canada through fun, dramatic adventures! (Ahaha I suck at descriptions)

Canada had enough of the abuse that Ukraine was undergoing by her Russian brother and Belarusian sister. It made his skin burn with discomfort, and he wanted Ukraine to feel wanted.

When Canada and Ukraine become friends, it's at a party in December celebrating her independence from the USSR.

Not my art for cover!! This is a UkrCan story, it develops slowly, so sorry if it bothers you. Ukraine can't keep any of his food or drinks down. Canada thought it might be an eating discorder, so Ukraine went to get checked and he just had a problem with his stomach. It was all peaceful, till something changed both Canada's, Ukraine's, and anyone around them lives forever. (Vague bad description )
