The Reef has fallen to lawlessness, and now the most wanted criminals in the galaxy - the barons and Uldren Sov - have organized a jailbreak at the prison of elders. A hunter nicknamed Shadow and Cayde-6 have been sent in to bring law and order back to the embattled facility, but things do not go as planned. Facing insurmountable odds, Cayde-6 pays the ultimate price and Shadow...well...now she has a thirst for revenge.

The hunt for Uldren Sov is on, but will Scarlet really be able to pull the trigger?

Aries-2 had been with Cayde, and was with him on the mission to the Prison of Elders with him, held him as the light in his eyes faded. Months later, the remaining vanguard hasn't seen or heard from her since she swore revenge on Uldren. Now, she's back.

The War between the light and the dark is over, though the toll was great. The moon shattered, planets decimated, and the continents of Earth reshaped. Many hundreds of years later, many of the world only know these events as myths and legends, the tails told to inspire or set fear into the hearts of small children. But little do they know that those from long ago still remain, that the being of light still hangs over a single city, rebuilding and regaining their strength to once again travel the stars. Though this pease is about to be broken as Ozpin and Salem learn that the legends might in fact be true and the power that comes with it. But how wrong they truly are about what they think is their own past.

The Traveler sent a Ghost to find him. Leaving the rest of the guardians with a sense of betrayal, how could the Traveler do this!? Bringing back the one who MURDERED the beloved Vanguard Cayde-6! Uldren Sov has returned, his Ghost bringing him to the Farm, where Zavala had instructed her to go. Meeting them there with one of their most trusted Hunters to watch over him.
