Zhang Qi Ling was the God of Death who was tasks to collect souls and guide them to the afterlife. He was able to kill a mortal with a simple touch. However, for some unfathomable reason he wasn't able to collect Wu Xie's soul. Wu Xie was a mere mortal. He knew that, and yet he couldn't stop himself from calling, he couldn't stop himself from falling to an immortal that could literally take his breaths away. And now, he knows why two people can't be together. -AU-

Wu Xie prepare a sword gift for Xiaoge for their new adventure and give it to him, but as the future seems uncertain, their hearts join closer and a promise is born between the two, along with the heat of the burning hearts.
