Zhang Qi Ling was the God of Death who was tasks to collect souls and guide them to the afterlife. He was able to kill a mortal with a simple touch. However, for some unfathomable reason he wasn't able to collect Wu Xie's soul. Wu Xie was a mere mortal. He knew that, and yet he couldn't stop himself from calling, he couldn't stop himself from falling to an immortal that could literally take his breaths away. Wuxie and Qiling are friends since childhood. For pursuing their dreams both separate from each other but reunite at the end of their twenties. Then followed by a sequence of events, in the end, make them realize each other's true feelings and importance in life. Status: Completed. Unedited.

Wu Xie prepare a sword gift for Xiaoge for their new adventure and give it to him, but as the future seems uncertain, their hearts join closer and a promise is born between the two, along with the heat of the burning hearts. Set during the episide 31 of the Ultimate Note drama. An Au version of it.

Wu Xie's soul always been wandering, searching, waiting. Zhang Qi Ling no longer normal, unable to just fade away, he bides his time. What are they waiting for? Will they ever find it again? All they can do is keep wandering and hoping. Maybe this time... -AU-
